1. Order Cancellation Policy

1.1 Cancellation in Case of Damage or Defect

  • If you receive a damaged or defective product, please inform the delivery personnel immediately at the time of delivery.

  • You must raise a complaint by submitting a ticket through our Help Center within 3 days of delivery.

  • Damage/defect cases will be assessed within 3 working days.

  • After evaluation, CraftsHut may:

    • Repair the product.

    • Replace the product/part, or

    • Take any other corrective action deemed appropriate.

⚠️ Any complaint raised after 3 days of delivery will not be entertained.

For fragile products, customers must share a proper unboxing video clearly showing the damage/defect.


1.2 Cancellation in Case of Wrong Product

  • If the delivered product does not match your confirmed order specifications, report the issue immediately.

  • A ticket must be raised through the Help Centre within 3 days of delivery.

  • After verification, appropriate corrective action will be taken.


1.3 Cancellation Due to Change of Mind / Requirement

  • Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order.

  • The refund will be credited to your CraftsHut Wallet corresponding to that order.

  • Cancellation is only allowed if:

    • The product has not been shipped, and

    • The product is not in the production or pre-production stage.

⛔ After 24 hours, cancellations will not be entertained or may be chargeable.


2. Return & Replacement Policy

2.1 Eligibility for Return or Replacement

Return or replacement is allowed only if:

  • The product is damaged.

  • The product is defective, or

  • The product delivered is different from what was ordered.

Conditions:

  • The issue must be reported within 3 days of delivery.

  • Return/replacement requests must be initiated within 7 days from the date of delivery (return window).

  • Relevant images/videos must be submitted for verification.

  • Products that are used, assembled, modified, or damaged after delivery are not eligible.


2.2 Product Condition for Return

The product must:

  • Be unused and in original condition.

  • Include all accessories, manuals, tags, and original packaging.

CraftsHut May:

  • Request visual proof, or

  • Arrange inspection by authorised personnel.

Return/replacement will only be processed after validation of genuine damage, defect, or incorrect delivery.


3. Resolution & Refund Policy

  • Upon successful verification, CraftsHut may:

    • Repair the affected part.

    • Replace part of the product, or

    • Replace the entire product (subject to availability).

Refunds are generally not applicable under the return policy unless approved under special circumstances.

If a refund is approved:

  • Pickup of cancelled/returned items must be completed first.

  • After receiving the product at the warehouse, a refund will be initiated within 2–3 working days.

  • Refund will be processed via:

    • NEFT,

    • Original mode of payment, or

    • Any other approved method.

  • No deductions will be applicable for approved returns.


4. Warranty Policy

4.1 Warranty Coverage

  • All products purchased after 25th February 2023 come with a 36-month warranty.

  • Products purchased before this date carry a 1-year warranty.

  • The warranty covers manufacturing and workmanship defects.

  • Applicable only for furniture used under normal household conditions.


4.2 Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Minor scratches, cuts, or damages due to cleaning methods or accidents.

  • Incorrect installation/assembly by customer.

  • Improper storage or misuse.

  • Exposure to sunlight causes fabric fading.

  • Cracks due to product displacement.

  • Wood decay due to water exposure.

  • Seasonal expansion/contraction of solid wood.

  • Natural wood grains, joint lines, or natural splits.

  • Upholstery fabrics (only frame/mechanism covered).

  • Use of harsh chemicals or non-standard dry-cleaning.

  • Dimension variations up to 2 inches (industry standard).

  • Unevenness up to 5mm due to floor level differences.

  • Damage caused after relocation from original delivery address.

  • Installation or repair done by unauthorised third parties.

⚠️ Warranty becomes void if the product is relocated or repaired by unauthorised personnel.

5. Delivery Policy

5.1 Installation & Delivery Support

  • Our support and delivery team will coordinate for smooth installation.

  • CraftsHut delivers Pan India.


5.2 Delivery Conditions

  • In the absence of a service lift, delivery will be made only to the ground floor.

  • Extra charges may apply for:

    • Weekend deliveries,

    • Specific time-slot deliveries.


5.3 Storage Policy

  • Once the product reaches the nearest delivery centre, customers must accept delivery promptly.

  • Products will be held for 10 days.

  • After 10 days, CraftsHut reserves the right to charge holding/storage fees.
